As a participant in a Timebank Ireland community, I commit to:
- Respecting others' privacy and opinions.
- Avoiding the imposition of religious or political beliefs.
- Seeking group consent before involving friends or relatives.
- Not requesting or accepting money or gifts.
- Consuming food or drinks only when invited.
- Adhering to a no-smoking policy.
- Using possessions with permission.
- Treating others with respect.
I also recognise that Timebank Ireland champions equality for all members. Any concerns should be addressed with our timebank coordinators before proceeding with an exchange.
I am aware that Timebank Ireland prioritises member safety through vetting, including reference checks or enhanced disclosure. This process is confidential, with decisions made by our timebank coordinators.
Understanding that Timebank Ireland values each member and expects high standards, my rights and responsibilities include:
- Being treated with dignity, care and respect.
- Adhering to this code of conduct.
- Ensuring one time credit equals one hour of service.
- Maintaining confidentiality.
- Creating comfortable exchanges.
- Contacting our timebank coordinators in challenging situations.
- Being punctual and accepting advice.
If dissatisfied with services from other timebank members, I understand that I should inform our timebank coordinators.
